Trangression is inspired by the Garden of Eden and the human knowledge of recognizing sin, misery, and death due to the wrongs of Eve. It seeks to discuss the contemplations of Catholic values, especially in the parable of Adam and Eve. The character is representational of myself and my relationship with Catholicism. As someone who identifies as Catholic and is a believer in Christ, it doesn’t undermine the common feelings of hopelessness and denial when believing in an entity. Transgression highlights the conflict of having original sin in combination with the Catholic goal to reach heaven and be one with Christ. However, in the parable of Adam and Eve, we are doomed with original sin, and we sin everyday as if it’s an endless loop. So how do we free ourselves from this transgression to reach the holy trinity?
